About

DNS is a musician and sound artist based in Yokohama and Shanghai transitioned from a post rock band vocal and guitar player. He is known as embedding emotions in the sound pitches, creating the unique ambient atmospheres and textures by mixing various sound, instruments and modular synths.

2024 Modular Commune Festival Beijing gathered 108 electronic musicians from 13 countries and 33 cities worldwide, featuring over 100 captivating performances. In addition, 50 synthesizer manufacturers and brands from around the globe, along with 13 innovative developer teams from China, participated in the event. This grand celebration has now become Asia's largest synthesizer music festival, highlighting the fusion of cutting-edge technology and groundbreaking music.

TFOM (Tokyo Festival of Modular ) 2023 is not only the first large-scale electronic music event after the end of the pandemic but also the 10th-anniversary celebration of the event. Therefore, there is a significant increase in scale compared to previous years. Twenty artists with diverse styles from regions such as New York, Berlin, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, and more performed their respective live sets during the two-day music festival.
